Flipfloppers.

Before we had even finished setting up at this spot, some guy comes out and tells us we can skate, but only if we don't grind on the ledges. Fine with us, that's not what we came to do anyways.

Roughly 12 minutes later about five different people had come out and warned us about the guy who had previously allowed us to shred, they said he would surely call the police on us.

After about five more minutes, the same guy came out, and he came out PISSED. He got in Jan's face, screaming and using terrible words, ready to start swinging. He claimed that we had lied to him and that we were no longer on the same level as him, we were clearly inferior... inferior to the almighty Costco manager. You can see from the pictures that we were not skating his ledges.


Well we left anyways, even though he did not even sort of ask kindly or reasonably.
I, however, do take a sort of long time to pack up my camera gear... right as we were saying our goodbyes and going home for the night THREE cop cars pull up on all sides of us. That's two cruisers and an SUV, at least 5 officers, all for myself, Jan and Philly. I of course pointed this out to them immediately and was of course met with hostility. After only so long, things lightened up and all the cops were being respectable. We had a cool conversation that led to me giving them this site's URL. Hope they're reading this, we need more cops that can actually talk to people without being pigs.
